For years during my childhood, we would go down to the river in Cathedral Park while I was visiting my Grandma.  I had a lot of fun there, sheltered by the shadows of St John's Bridge.  So, when the Willamette Tapestry Artists started a bridge collection, the under-side of St John's Bridge, Cathedral Park, was naturally my choice.  I was a relatively new weaver, and see lots of things I would do differently, but the blending of yarns, the sense of inclusion and peace, the steps of my childhood are all there.

After a debilitating stroke which left her one-handed and forced her to give up her profession, Lee was three years into recovery when she found Damascus Fiber Arts School. Four years later, she is weaving, adding techniques, enhancing her skill level.  She fell in love with creating tapestry.
