Artist Statement

I began my journey with fiber arts at the young age of seven, when I first learned to knit. This craft quickly became a constant source of creative expression for me, fueling my curiosity and passion to explore every fiber technique I encountered. Over the years, I found myself captivated by the endless possibilities that working with fiber presented.

In 2019, I decided to take my exploration further by enrolling in a tapestry class at Damascus Fiber Arts School. That experience marked a turning point; since then, my dedication to tapestry has only grown stronger and I have never looked back.

Through tapestry, I am discovering a deeper way of seeing and experiencing the world around me. It teaches me to engage fully with my surroundings, to slow down and truly observe.
